The threat of Ebola continues unchecked in Ituri Province, DRC.

People fail to understand the necessity of strict sanitary preparation for burial. Their culture honors their loved ones with days of celebration. Anger at not releasing their dead erupted into stone throwing and burning of Ebola isolation tents.

Urgent prayer is need for Ituri Province, DRC. Ebola virus spreads quickly in the close living quarters of the IDP camps. Many have already died.

Medicines for cough and other common illnesses are distributed to the displaced.

The Peace Center sponsored a gathering of youth leaders for a 5 day seminar on Sunday school education. These leaders have a passion for youth. Training them in peace building, reconciliation and sharing the Gospel of Jesus offers promising hope for the future of the DRC.
