As HFTC, Inc. strives to share God’s love with our neighbors in the Congo, we endeavor to share their stories, hardships and triumphs to increase our awareness of their daily struggles. Their lives are not easy and are hard for us to fathom. Hearing their stories enables our prayers to be more specific and financial aid to be more focused. 

In addition to our website, media and monthly updates, what better way to introduce stories of Northeastern DRC than to bring their leadership to us. To this end, Hearts for the Congo, Inc. will sponsor Rev. Bernard Bisoke Balikenga as well as his colleagues, Titre Ande Georges, Archbishop of the Anglican Church of the DRC, and Bishop Cyrille Kambale to attend the 2025 New Wineskins Conference. The Archbishop’s headquarters for the Anglican Church is in Kinshasa, on the western side of the country. He and his Bishop, Cyrille, live in Aru to the far northeast of the Congo. Neither gentlemen has visited the US before. “Hope for the Nations” Global Missions Conference will be held September 17-20 at Ridgecrest Conference Center In Black Mountain, NC.

Our guests will stay from 2 to 4 weeks in the US. During their visit we pray they will be blessed by the conference, make valuable connections and have time for rest. 

I believe the visit from our friends from the Congo will solidify our relationship, invigorate our leadership and energize our vision for HFTC, Inc.
